GoodWood Press is a LetterPress Print Shop located a few minutes (& a few hundred years) South of Nashville in Historic Franklin, Tennessee.  The Shop is owned & operated by a couple of former Nashvillians, who fortuitously landed on the serene banks of the Harpeth River after three years in Paris, France.

Using our library of antique wood and metal type along with carved block art, we create Unique & Distinctive Posters, Cards, Invitations & Ephemera of Hand-Set, Hand-Inked, Hand-Pulled & Fresh Air-Dried "Woodblock Letter Art" - practicing the ancient letterpress techniques originated by Johannes Gutenberg around 1439.

We print on five vintage cylinder presses, plus our "Iron Horse" - a 1,000 pound Chandler & Price "Old Style" platten press circa late 1800s.

GoodWood Press was commissioned by to create their LetterPress Posters for the highly successful "NASHVEGAS TM: Re-Branding Nashville" campaign.  You may have seen our / NASHVEGAS Trademark posters featured recently on the CMT series "Meet The Wilsons" or in the Nashville Predators' "Smashville" television ad campaign.

We Paint Word Pictures and our aim is to Decorate Your World - One Print @ A Time!
